What is "The Teachers' Lounge"?

That's us! We're a group of Funkin' modders who have come together to make Baldi's Basics in Funkin'. The name for our team wasn't actually finalized until September of 2023. Our team name used to be "Funkin' Counselors" before it became what it is today!

What is "Baldi's Basics in Funkin'"?

Baldi's Basics in Funkin' (also known as BBIF) is the current project of The Teachers' Lounge! We've been working on BBIF since September 2021. The full version of the mod currently not out, but we recently released a remake of our previous demo, refreshed with all of the up to date content! The mod is in active development and will release when its ready!

Is this mod official to Baldi's Basics?

No. Baldi's Basics in Funkin' is not official or canon to Baldi's Basics in any way. Mystman12 lending us his voice work for cutscenes and such, and Anthony Hampton is working on music for the mod. That is the limit of their involvement and we are not official media!

Why are Boyfriend and Girlfriend at Baldi's here school?

That is up to your interpretation! There isn't necessarily a "canon" explanation.

Who is Paldo?

Paldo Franks is an original character, he was originally intended to be a take on "Badsum". He was created in September of 2021 and given the name "Piracy Baldi" until shortly after he was given the name Paldo Franks. Over the years, Paldo's lore has changed a LOT, since we originally made him with 0 lore in mind, but came up with a simple story overtime. This story was used for the Paldo "logs" we posted on twitter in '23. Ever since then his story has been almost entirely scrapped and changed, as you might be able to tell if you play firewall.

Will the full mod have plus characters?

Baldi's Basics in Funkin' is a Classic Remastered based mod, so plus content is not our focus. We have, however, confirmed Dr. Reflex to have a song in the full release. Our full roster has yet to be revealed, so maybe there will be a little more plus content... Guess you'll have to wait and see...

Will old songs be playable in the full mod?

No. We will not add older versions of songs, or 2021/2022 demo songs into the full mod.
